SCHOLASTIC CHESS PRODUCTS AND ACCESSORIES PLASTIC PIECES

Grandwell has introduced a new series of plastic chess sets in shades sandal wood and ebonised black. They are available in other shades also. The sets have traditional touch; follow Staunton norms; have contemporary feel; yet radically different. They have an authority of their own in look feel and functional values. They are cute and cheerful designs appealing to chess professionals to break the monotony of conventional sets and the fatigue that comes in normal chess games.

The models have low bases-made as flat as possible providing more roomy space on the playing surface to facilitate thinking/analyzing process of the moves.

This also enables the player to use these pieces from smaller chess board fields of
45mm x 45mm to 58mm x 58mm; thus making the model versatile.

Thus for the first time, chess players have a wide selection range with better profiles. 

Fine satin smooth bright pieces in plastic in contrast shades of sandal wood, white Ivory, black, burgundy and red; felted in fabric cloth. They are of regulation size 96mm/3.75”KH with the following special features:

1. Attractive profiling in Staunton style which will take away the monotony of long time play.
2. Low base of the set give more roomy space on the playing surface to facilitate/improve the analysis of the moves.
3. As base height is low it is suitable for boards of smaller field sizes up to 45mm x 45mm.
4. It can be supplied in any contrast shades.
   

The sets are available in light weighted version,850gms, weight can be fixed in mutually acceptable limits.
